【摘要】:Astandardprocedureforblendpreparationisessentialtoensurematerialquality,specificationcompliance,andproceduraluniformity.1.1Thispracticecoverstheprocedureforpreparationofhotrecycledbituminousblendsfortestinginthelaboratory.Theprocedureinvolvesaniterativetrialblendprocessfollowedbythepreparationofbatchblends.1.2Thebatchblendscanbeusedforextensiveevaluationsuchasviscosity,penetration,ductility,agingproperties(suchasRollingThinFilmOvenorThin-FilmOventests,orboth(RTFO/TFO)),compositionanalysis,solubilityanalysis,andotheruser-selectedtests.1.3Thispracticeassumesthatarepresentativereclaimedasphaltpavement(RAP)sampleisextractedandtheagedbinderrecoveredusingTestMethodsD2172andTestMethodD1856(thispracticemaybemodifiedbyusingarotaryevaporatorwhichisextensivelyevaluatedintheminutesofthe18thPacificCoastConferenceonAsphaltSpecifications)oranyotheracceptabletestmethod.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
