【摘要】:(A)Covered.ThisCodecoverstheinstallationofelectricalconductors,equipment,andraceways;signalingandcommunicationsconductors,equipment,andraceways;andopticalfibercablesandracewaysforthefollowing:(1)Publicandprivatepremises,includingbuildings,structures,mobilehomes,recreationalvehicles,andfloatingbuildings(2)Yards,lots,parkinglots,carnivals,andindustrialsubstationsFPNto(2):Foradditionalinformationconcerningsuchinstallationsinanindustrialormultibuildingcomplex,seeANSIC2-2002,NationalElectricalSafetyCode.(3)Installationsofconductorsandequipmentthatconnecttothesupplyofelectricity(4)Installationsusedbytheelectricutility,suchasofficebuildings,warehouses,garages,machineshops,andrecreationalbuildings,thatarenotanintegralpartofageneratingplant,substation,orcontrolcenter.(B)NotCovered.ThisCodedoesnotcoverthefollowing:(1)Installationsinships,watercraftotherthanfloatingbuildings,railwayrollingstock,aircraft,orautomotivevehiclesotherthanmobilehomesandrecreationalvehiclesFPN:AlthoughthescopeofthisCodeindicatesthattheCodedoesnotcoverinstallationsinships,portionsofthisCodeareincorporatedbyreferenceintoTitle46,CodeofFederalRegulations,Parts110-113.(2)Installationsundergroundinminesandself-propelledmobilesurfaceminingmachineryanditsattendantelectricaltrailingcable(3)Installationsofrailwaysforgeneration,transformation,transmission,ordistributionofpowerusedexclusivelyforoperationofrollingstockorinstallationsusedexclusivelyforsignalingandcommunicationspurposes(4)Installationsofcommunicationsequipmentundertheexclusivecontrolofcommunicationsutilitieslocatedoutdoorsorinbuildingspacesusedexclusivelyforsuchinstallations(5)Installationsundertheexclusivecontrolofanelectricutilitywheresuchinstallationsa.Consistofservicedropsorservicelaterals,andassociatedmetering,orb.Arelocatedinlegallyestablishedeasements,rights-of-way,orbyotheragreementseitherdesignatedbyorrecognizedbypublicservicecommissions,utilitycommissions,orotherregulatoryagencieshavingjurisdictionforsuchinstallations,orc.Areonpropertyownedorleasedbytheelectricutilityforthepurposeofcommunications,metering,generation,control,transformation,transmission,ordistributionofelectricenergy.FPNto(4)and(5):Examplesofutilitiesmayincludethoseentitiesthataretypicallydesignatedorrecognizedbygovernmentallaworregulationbypublicservice/utilitycommissionsandthatinstall,operate,andmaintainelectricsupply(suchasgeneration,transmission,ordistributionsystems)orcommunicationsystems(suchastelephone,CATV,Internet,satellite,ordataservices).Utilitiesmaybesubjecttocompliancewithcodesandstandardscoveringtheirregulatedactivitiesasadoptedundergovernmentallaworregulation.Additionalinformationcanbefoundthroughconsultationwiththeappropriategovernmentalbodies,suchasstateregulatorycommissions,FederalEnergyRegulatoryCommission,andFederalCommunicationsCommission.(C)SpecialPermission.TheauthorityhavingjurisdictionforenforcingthisCodemaygrantexceptionfortheinstallationofconductorsandequipmentthatarenotundertheexclusivecontroloftheelectricutilitiesandareusedtoconnecttheelectricutilitysupplysystemtotheservice-entranceconductorsofthepremisesserved,providedsuchinstallationsareoutsideabuildingorterminateimmediatelyinsideabuildingwall.
